Month in Review - January 2026
This month, we’re taking some big leaps forward. We are thrilled to announce the preview of our brand-new n8n integration, alongside significant feature updates for Salesforce and WordPress. We’ve also expanded our global API infrastructure to three new regions and released deep-dive guides to help you secure your Node.js apps and S3 buckets.

From minor bug fixes to major architectural expansions, here is everything new with attachmentAV this month.
n8n
We arer working on a new attachmentAV app for n8n. The app is in preview.
To test it, follow the installation guide in the n8n community nodes documentation.
The npm package name is @attachmentav/n8n-nodes-attachmentav.
attachmentAV for Salesforce
We released version 1.60.0 of our app. The new version comes with the following changes:
- Adds a new filter to exclude file’s of specific users from scanning
- Displays license and quota details on config page
- Switched from Connected App to External Client App
- Minor bug fixes
Updates are automatic.
attachmentAV for WordPress
We released version 1.7.0 of our add-on. Here is what changed:
- Shows API key usage information to warn you when you hit the limit
- Supports Wordpress 6.9
Use the WordPress built-in mechanism to update the add-on.
attachmentAV Virus and Malware Scan API
Our hosted Virus and Malware Scan API (SaaS) is now available in three more regions: US, India, Canada. Learn more!
We also published two new examples on how you can use the API to protect from malware and viruses:

We also worked on small bug fixes and performance improvements behind the scenes.
We released version 1.10.1 of the Self-hosted on AWS API with small fixes. To update, follow the Update Guide.
attachmentAV for Atlassian
We released version 8.10.0 of attachmentAV for Atlassian Jira with small fixes.
We released version 6.13.0 of attachmentAV for Atlassian Confluence with small fixes.
Updates are automatic for minor updates, while major updates may need manual approval via the Atlassian Universal Plugin Manager.
What’s next?
Apart from small improvements, we are planning to launch a GitHub Action. We also hope to finish our new n8n app. Besides that, expect more example blog posts.
