attachmentAV for Atlassian Confluence: Mitigation
Mitigation is all about minimizing or removing the impact of a security threat. attachmentAV for Atlassian Confluence can take specific actions to prevent the spread of the security threat.
By default, attachmentAV moves files to trash to mitigate threats as quickly as possible. The following table shows additional options that our customers use:

Move to trash (#)
By default, attachmentAV for Atlassian Confluence moves infected attachments to the trash. Attachments moved to the space trash can be restored.
Delete (Purge) (#)
A deleted (purged) attachmet is permanently removed from Confluence.
No virus and malware scan engine is perfect. Be aware, that false-positive findings might cause the deletion of files.
Label (#)
By default, attachmentAV for Atlassian Confluence labels clean and unscannable attachments. The following labels are used:
