Real-time scan (#)
By default, all attachments uploaded to Atlassian Jira are scanned by attachmentAV for Atlassian Jira.
For each uploaded file, attachmentAV for Atlassian Jira:
- Stores the scan result.
- Runs mitigation actions.
- Notifies about the real-time scan result.
Full scan (#)
You can configure attachmentAV for Atlassian Jira to scan all attachments on a schedule. You also have the option to manually start a full scan on-demand by clicking the Run Full Scan Now button on the configuration page.
For each full scan, attachmentAV for Atlassian Jira:
- Keeps a summary of the full scan (aka full scan result).
- Stores the scan results for infected and unscannable files.
- Runs mitigation actions.
- Notifies about the full scan result.
