attachmentAV for n8n: Setup Guide

Install (#)

  1. In n8n, go to Settings > Community Nodes.
  2. Click on Install.
  3. Set npm Package Name to @attachmentav/n8n-nodes-attachmentav.
  4. Click on Install.

Create API key (#)

  1. Create a subscription to get your API key.
  2. In n8n, add new credential for attachmentAV API app with the API key you received in the previous step.

Use attachmentAV (#)

  1. In n8n, open your workflow and add a new node. Use attachmentAV: step 1
  2. Search for attachmentAV… Use attachmentAV: step 2 …and click on Scan a File for Viruses/Malware. Use attachmentAV: step 3
  3. Set Credential to connect with to the credential created in the previous step and double check that Input Binary Field matches with the value from the download file node executed before. Use attachmentAV: step 4
  4. Continue to inspect the scan result in your workflow to decide how to deal with infected files.

Uninstall (#)

To cancel your subscription, visit FastSpring Account Management.
