attachmentAV for Salesforce: Configuration
attachmentAV for Salesforce comes with as little knobs as possible to support a broad range of use cases.
Basic Configuration (#)
- In Salesforce, open the attachmentAV app.
- Change the configuration and click Save.
Advanced Configuration (#)
Email notification FROM address (#)
- Create Organization-Wide Address:
- Go to Setup -> Organization-Wide Addresses and create a new address (Select Allow All Profiles to Use this From Address or specify the integration user’s profile).
- Configure attachmentAV to use above org wide address:
- Go to Setup -> Custom Settings and click Manage near attachmentAV App Configuration.
- Click Edit (or new if the default configuration has never been adjusted - e.g. via the Configuration page) and put the email address into the Email Notifications Org-Wide Address field.
- Save.
Email notification templates (#)
There are two ways to change the subject and text of email notifications:
- Change the installed default template:
- Go to Setup -> Classic Email Templates.
- Select AttachmentAVNotifications folder in the top picklist.
- Click on one of the templates and perform actions on it (e.g. Edit HTML Version or Edit Properties).
- Create your own template from scratch:
- Go to Setup -> Classic Email Templates and create the template OR open Email Templates from the App Launcher and create a Lightning Email Template.
- Go to Setup -> Custom Settings and click Manage near attachmentAV App Configuration.
- Click Edit (or new if the default configuration has never been adjusted - e.g. via the Configuration page) and put the developer name of the template in the appropriate field (e.g. Infected File Email Template DevName).
- Save.
Show Scan Result Status in file details (#)
To show the Scan Result when looking at file details:
- Go to Setup -> Object Manager.
- Search for Content Version and click on the result.
- Navigate to Page Layouts and click Page Layout Assignment.
- Assign attachmentAV Content Version Layout to desired profiles by clicking Edit Assignment.
