Real-time scan (#)
By default, all files uploaded to Salesforce are scanned by attachmentAV for Salesforce. You can configure attachmentAV for Salesforce to only scan files linked to specific objects.
For each uploaded file, attachmentAV for Salesforce:
- Stores the scan result.
- Runs mitigation actions.
- Notifies about the real-time scan result.
Full scan (#)
You can configure attachmentAV for Salesforce to scan all files on a schedule. You also have the option to manually start a full scan on-demand by clicking the Run Full Scan Now button on the configuration page.
For each full scan, attachmentAV for Salesforce:
- Keeps a summary of the full scan (aka full scan result).
- Stores the scan results for infected and unscannable files.
- Runs mitigation actions.
- Notifies about the full scan result.
